Recordings
I have played on a variety of recordings as well as recorded some of my own. Lately I have been focusing on producing instrumental music.

I just released my latest instrumental CD “Passage”. The best way I can describe it is piano-driven ambient post-rock. People have told me that it is relaxing yet engaging music, something you can put on in the car or at home when entertaining friends or just chill out to. You can hear samples of the songs on my website (links on the left). It is available for purchase on my website, CD Baby, and soon on iTunes.
My first piano instrumental “Draw Me Close” is a collection of soothing music for relaxation, contemplation, and wellness, also available on my website, CD Baby and iTunes.
As a keyboardist, worship leader, vocalist, or producer, I have participated on recordings with David Zaffiro, Brian Doerksen, Andy Park, Sonya Kaye, Ruth Collingridge, Casey Corum, Jessica Ketola, Dave Irish, Brian and Loralee Thiessen, Larry Hampton, Kim Gentes, among others. I have performed on many live recordings in as faraway places as Sweden and Germany as well as a strange land called California.
Songwriting
I wrote my first song when I was five, but since then I have written many others in various genres, most recently in contemporary worship and positive inspirational music. My most famous song is “Draw Me Close (to You)” which has been on literally hundreds of recordings since first published in 1994, most notably by Michael W. Smith, Kathy Traccoli, Kutlass, and the Katinas. My song “Send Your Rain” was featured on one of WorshipTogether’s early Passion recordings.
My latest works are available on my revised song-oriented website, KelSongs.
Performing
I occasionally perform piano either as a solo artist or in a small combo for casual events. I am available to do house concerts for my piano instrumental work. I also have plans to do live internet concerts of my instrumental performances.
I also lead contemporary worship music and have been involved in this for the past 20 years, most recently at Vineyard Community Church in Shoreline, Washington, just north of Seattle.
Other Projects
I am currently venturing forth into the production music field and will have more to write about it in the upcoming months.

I was the worship leader for several years at my previous church (although I am no where near as talented as you are), and I remember playing and singing “Draw Me Close” many times. It was such an inspirational song, and one that really moved people to enter into worship.
I can also think of many times that I would sit at my piano at home by myself, and play that song…some very powerful moments and memories arose from that. :)
I just wanted to say thank you to you for writing such a beautiful song and I pray God will continue to bless you and use you.
Thank you so much for the kind words! And thanks for checking out my blog. I was pleasantly surprised to be featured on Freshly Pressed. Take care!!
