Chrysler ran a cool ad at Super Bowl halftime yesterday which was a 2-minute voiceover by Clint Eastwood. There are many “free market” pundits who thought that we should have just let the automakers fail a few years ago. But the fact is, there are real people out there that need to put food on their tables. I am glad that we bailed out GM & Chrysler. And GM has bounced back again to being on top in units sold worldwide.

By the numbers, that means we have 236 more years to get it right! To learn how to coexist and play nice. We can do it!
I loved the commercial also, but sometimes it irks me that only those with large political contributions and connections get bailouts. Large labor unions being just as guilty as wall street. Small business like I’m in gets pressed from every side, over-regulation increased costs, till you throw in the towel and the gov doesn’t give a s**t
Good point. I guess you have to get to a certain size before they figure you’re too big to fail and corporations get as big as they do from greasing politician’s palms. The whole system is corrupt.
